Ballerina
This offering was inspired by the Sleeping Beauty Ballet. I think this is one of the most colorful ballet masterpieces with a classic story line.This painting has a mate that is currently on display. It features the witch disguised as a beggar offering a gift to the Princess which when accepted plunged her in to a deep sleep.

Patience
I haunt swap meets, thrift shops estate sales and garage sales for old photographs of people with interesting faces or doing intersting things. I look for things that will set a mood and tell a story. Although I made minor changes and set a black and white photo to color to suit the mood, I loved this old man and couldn't wait to paint him.

Roads End
While reviewing my extensive photograph archives I ran across this impressive scene. A little artistic license accented the storm cloud and highlighted the glorious light breaking through at the end of the road. This painting became almost inspirational to me. I hope that it will shed light and hope to others as well.
